NETid and Password
To connect to the Notre Dame network, check your email, login into classroom podium computers and access other vital information you will need to obtain a NETid and password.

To obtain your NETid you must first read the Responsible Use Policy and answer a few questions.

Base software installed on your office machine.
If you would like additional software, please contact the Mendoza IT Help Desk at 1-7896.
Supported software
Purchase Microsoft Software for your Personal (home) Machine
Software Available from OIT as long as you are affiliated with Notre Dame (McAfee with AntiSpyware, etc.). Requires NETid Login.
 
Email
The Mendoza IT Help Desk supports Outlook, Entourage and OWA (Outlook Web Access). On your office computer, we will configure Outlook as it is the current standard in the College of Business. Your default email quota on Exchange is 1GB.

Listserv
Mendoza College of Business uses the following listservs as a communication channel to all members of the college.

cb-enterprise - work related announcements
cb-klatch - non-work related announcements (ticket sales)
cb-faculty - faculty related announcements
cb-staff - staff related announcements

When you obtain your office keys from room 101, be sure to fill out the paperwork so that you will be able to send and receive emails to these listservs.

To use the listserv, compose your email to listservname@listserv.nd.edu.

For example, cb-klatch@listserv.nd.edu.
